Caged Rage

Using a combination of wire weaving, glassblowing, and a copper patina technique, Caged Rage addresses body autonomy and the toll that long term birth control can have on bodies. The growth on the copper wire cage reflects the growing rage felt for bodies being governed. This was part of a larger collaborative installation with Kristi Totoritis titled 1973. The exhibition took place in April of 2023 following the overturning of Roe Vs Wade.
