Flameworked bullseye and borosilicate glass, wood, sculpted silicone, 2022

 

This mosscape (moss landscape) consists of British soldier lichen (Cladonia cristatella), pincushion moss (Leucobryum glaucum), and haircap moss (Polytrichum commune). These flameworked glass specimens are poised on a piece of driftwood with sculpted silicone.
